Drum roll please … Laura Carpenter has joined our team as HR Solutions Director, and Whitney Morris has joined as Client Services Director!

A natural leader, Laura is looking forward to making the workplace the best professional experience of a lifetime for Incipio’s clients by building trust and long-lasting relationships. She comes to us with over 25 years of leadership experience, providing innovative business solutions focused on culture and associate engagement, talent management, talent acquisition, professional growth and development, total
rewards (comp, benefits and incentives), community relations, and compliance in support of a profitable healthy business. She is also President and Founder of Meaningful Work LLC, and collaborates with local leaders who share her passion for making a difference.
Laura’s background in manufacturing, healthcare, customer care, call centers, e-commerce and fulfillment/logistics enables her to provide a depth of diversity in operations and people-focused solutions. She holds a BS in History from Central Connecticut State University, and an MS in Business from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is actively engaged in the Society for Human Resource
Management and holds SPHR certification.
Laura is proud to have been a U.S. Navy wife, and that military experience was invaluable in helping her to develop flexibility, adaptability and manage change.
The New Face of Client Services
Whitney is a true “people person” who thrives on cultivating and deepening relationships. She comes to Incipio with a solid and varied client service and retention background that includes experience in both human resources and technology. She has excelled in a wide variety of roles throughout her career, including positions in marketing, web design, online platform development, HR software sales and service, restaurant management and even a stint as a handyman.
She began her career in Nashville in an entry-level role at a national company. She quickly moved on to become Director of Marketing for a startup business, and then took on a key marketing role for an international e-commerce/CRM corporation. After moving to Louisville in 2001, she helped drive sales for the alternative newspaper LEO Weekly and managed a locally owned restaurant. She later joined Kwantek LLC (formerly MyCareerNetwork) and spent 10 years in key roles that included client relationship management, inside sales, product development and HR software development.
Since deciding to start a family in 2012, she has continued to build her client services skills in positions with DBS>Interactive, Zeon Chemicals and Churchill Downs Racetrack. Whitney holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Tennessee. She is a former volunteer firefighter and advisor for the YMCA State Youth Legislature program. She is married with two little ones.
